    Suggestion for Cajon amp:

I’ve been seeking a reasonably priced amplifier to use with my front and back Cajon Shure mics. I tested a drum amp, a keyboard amp, and reference studio monitor speaker, but none produced enough volume. Finally, I tested a Berhringer B207MP3 Active 150-Watt 6.5″ Pa/Monitor Speaker System with Mp3. This is a great choice! It can input from CD’s, MP3’s, instruments, and up to three separate mics. There are EQ settings, MP3 controls, and individual volume controls for each channel. Upon checking Amazon, Sweetwater, and Adorama, I found the best price on Adorama for $199 (www.adorama.com/beb207mp3.html).

A nice feature is being able to input an MP3 track and play along with my two mic inputs from my Cajon. The 150 watt 6.5″ speaker is plenty loud enough and offers very clear, full sound.

To make it even better, I found a great stand which enables the amp to be higher and comes with microphone threaded stud which mates with the adapters provided with the amp. This stand is strong and can easily support the amp (www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08F4T248P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) for $29.99.

Hope this suggestion if helpful to you fellow box beaters.
