Hello everyone!
I’m Corrina and I’m excited to be here! I live in the USA, in Las Vegas. I have no prior experience with the cajon or any other percussion instruments, but I recently came across the cajon on YouTube and was so intrigued!
I do have a bit of musical experience, I’ve played the guitar off and on for a number of years and in May 2022 I started taking piano lessons (my first recital is in one week!). I hope that learning the cajon will help improve trying to play different rhythms on each hand on piano (and likely vice-versa). But mostly I hope to learn something new and enjoy it!
My husband is quite musically inclined – he plays bass, guitar, piano, a bit of drums, and we recently purchased an electric cello that he is learning. Our two children have been playing piano for almost 5 years so as you can see, we enjoy music!
