Hi @Felipe , really enjoying your course!

Do you have any tips or exercises that could help build speed and consistency? I’m starting to find it challenging at the 95 bpm and up.

Right now, I’ve simply been practising grooves with a metronome, trying to increase the tempo once I feel more comfortable and accurate but I still can’t seem to break the barrier past 75 – 80 bpm. Another exercise I’ve been doing is also to just hit constantly on one note (eg: 100 bpm on all ghost notes) but again start to stumble when beat variations some coming in.

Hi Mark, thanks for you message here.

Be able to play fast and feel comfortable with what you are playing requires patience. Your brain need to understand that you can play it faster and the only way is repeating over and over again what you want play.

I suggest that you keep practicing as you are and I’m sure that when you are not expecting the things will come. This is the way it works for me.

I would like also to suggest the video I’ve posted a while ago with some exercises to increase speed.

    Hope it helps
